Limited Warranty Policy – Cambio Bikes

Warranty Coverage

• All models of CAMBIO BIKES are covered for 5 year warranty against any manufacturing defects. The defective rubber parts (Tyres & Tubes Only) will be replaced within 7 days from the date of delivery.
• This limited warranty shall not be seen or interpreted in any manner whatsoever to suggest or infer that the Cambio Bikes is imperishable or will last forever.
• This limited warranty is exclusive to the original owner of Cambio Bikes and is not transferable to subsequent owners.
• This limited warranty will not hold if the Cambio Bikes is subjected to neglect, improper repair, and maintenance, modification, an accident, excessive, or improper use.
• This limited warranty applies only to bicycles purchased from Authorized Cambio Retailers or other outlets specifically authorized by Cambio to sell Cambio Bikes. To find a list of Authorized Cambio Bikes Retailers, please visit our website www.cambiobikes.com and go to Store Locator.

Warranty Exclusions

The following are specifically excluded from the coverage of this limited warranty.

• Any defect arising due to normal wear and tear, improper assembly, or subsequent maintenance.
• Installation or changes made to the components, parts, or accessories not originally intended for or compatible with the Cambio Bikes.
• Paint or Sticker color fading caused due by ultraviolet light (UV) or outdoor exposure.
• Damage or malfunction caused due to accident, misuse, abuse, or neglect.
• Normal wear and tear, scratches, or damage caused due to the use of chemicals, improper storage, and parking.

When Cambio Bikes used for the following activities

• Used in any competitive sport
• Used for stunt riding, jumping, aerobatics, or similar activity
• Modified in any way
• Modified with the addition of a motor
• Ridden by more than one person at a time
• Rented, sold, or given away

Remedy and Limitation of Liability

This warranty is specifically limited to the repair or replacement of a defective part, and any such repair or replacement is the only remedy under this warranty. All labour charges incurred during warranty service, including the transfer of components and/or any installation of new parts/components, are to be borne by the owner of the Cycle. If some products are redundant or no more available for older models, the sourcing and payment of these components will be the responsibility of the Cycle owner.

• Cambio or any of its affiliates cannot be held responsible for any damages that are indirect, incidental.
• Colour of the Cycle frame and stickers are subject to availability at the time of claim.
• Decision about the type of damage will be taken by the Company and communicated to the customer before initiating the repair.

• For Cambio Bikes purchased from Authorized Cambio Retailers, please contact the retailer of your Cambio Bikes for the warranty claim process.

ELECTRIC BICYCLES

Warranty policy of Electric Bicycles

Frame and Mechanicals 

• The Frame is tested for road and city use only. Any use outside the designed environment cancels the warranty. Replacement or repair will be solely at the discretion of the Company.
• Any fault in the frame will only be serviced by Cambio Bikes approved technician. Warranty will be void if serviced by someone other than Cambio Bikes approved technician.
• The cost, including replacement of parts, of any genuine fault that falls within the warranty period will be borne by the Company. 
• Labour costs will be separate and borne by the user.
• Damage due to rough use, natural mishap, accidents, improper storage, natural wear, or intentional damage by the user will not come within the purview of the warranty. Damage assessment will be done and communicated to the customer before repairing.
• Natural wear and tear, scratches, peeling of Paint and all coatings initiated due to intentional or accidental reasons, damage due to chemicals, improper storage, and parking will not be covered under warranty.

Controller

• Any damage to Controller due to access use, which is beyond design condition, will not be covered under warranty. Replacement or repair will be solely at the discretion of the Company.
• Damage arising out of non-authorized service is not covered under warranty.
• Any use of non-approved accessories will cancel the warranty.
• Rewiring of the harness will cancel the warranty.
• Unauthorized opening of Controller will cancel the warranty.
• The warranty for the controller does not include damage caused due to power fluctuations, including lightning strikes, short-circuit due to water, etc.

Motor and Rim

• All manufacturing defects will be covered under warranty. Replacement or repair will be at the discretion of the Company.
• Any damage to Motor due to access use, which is beyond design condition, will not be covered under warranty. 
• Opening or servicing of motor performed by other than Cambio Bikes approved technician will cancel the warranty.
• Natural wear and tear, scratches, peeling of Paint and all coatings initiated due to intentional or accidental reasons, damage due to chemicals, improper storage, and parking will not be covered under warranty.
• Damage due to rough use, natural mishap, accidents, improper storage, natural wear, or intentional damage by the user will not come within the purview of the warranty. Damage assessment will be done and communicated to the customer before repairing.
• The warranty for the motor does not include damage caused due to power fluctuations, including lightning strikes, short-circuit due to water, or surge caused during charging, etc.

Battery

• All manufacturing defects will be covered under warranty. Replacement or repair will be at the discretion of the Company.
• Never wash or drown the battery as any damage caused to the battery due to such negligence will cancel the warranty.
• The battery warranty does not include damage caused due to power surges, use of an unauthorized charger, damage caused due to exposure to water, improper maintenance, or any other such misuses or normal wear and tear.
• Natural degradation of the battery pack is not covered under warranty. Maximum battery degradation of 25% after 700 charge Cycles or 1 years, whichever earlier is normal.

• Storage of battery: The battery should be charged 100%, at least once a month, before storing. Also, the battery should not meet water. Failing to do so will cancel the warranty. Never store battery fully discharged. The company will not be responsible for any accident or damage due to improper storage.

• Charging (more than 45 degrees Celsius), storing, and discharging the battery when the ambient temperature is not more than 50 degrees and less than 0 degrees Celsius will cancel the warranty. The company cannot be held responsible for any accident or damage due to improper usage.

Online Purchase policy

Refund Policy

• No Cancellation/Refund: – All prepaid orders placed successfully on www.CambioBikes.com by using various payment modes including Credit/Debit card or Net banking by users will be treated as confirmed orders.

• No Cancellation request will be accepted from the user and No Refund will be processed against any request.

Return / Exchange Policy

• No Return No Exchange policy on the successfully delivered product as ordered.
• All Cambio Bikes are covered for 5 years (Five Years) warranty against any manufacturing defect in Frames.
• We will replace the defective rubber parts (Tires & Tubes Only) against manufacturing defects within 7 working days from the date of delivery.
• We will not take back the item (complete bicycle) for the reason that does not look like a picture we display on the website.

Cancellation and Refund policy

All bicycles/products sold through CAMBIO are put through stringent and thorough quality checks prior to the same being shipped to you. CAMBIO only ships original products to ensure complete satisfaction of usage for the bicycle/product ordered by you. Cancellation/refund shall be entertained only based on the below mentioned circumstances.

TRANSIT RELATED DAMAGES – In case of any transit damage to the bicycle/product, upon the same being delivered to you, you shall intimate the same to CAMBIO within 24 (Twenty Four) hours of initial receipt of the same. For the purpose of verification of the claim, the requirements as listed below by shall be mailed to support@cambiobikes.com for CAMBIO to verify:

• Photo/video (in case of moving parts) of the damage;
• Invoice copy of the bicycle/product; and
• Photo of the frame number on the bicycle.

CAMBIO shall assess the extent of damage to the bicycle/product and shall take best efforts to ensure the same is rectified to your satisfaction, either by replacing the damages part or reimbursing cost of service to you. If such damage cannot be rectified, CAMBIO shall process the return of the product and replace the bicycle/product (or) refund the money paid by you.

WARRANTY CLAIMS – For any warranty related issues that may arise with respect to any bicycle/product upon the same being delivered to you and being communicated to CAMBIO with the following information to support@cambiobikes.com:

• Photo/video (in case of moving parts) of the damage;
• Invoice copy of the bicycle/product; and
• Photo of the frame number on the bicycle.

 If such issue cannot be rectified, CAMBIO shall process the return of the product and replace the bicycle/product (or) refund the money paid by you.

FURTHER STIPULATIONS: – If you still wish to proceed and cancel your order, a nominal cancellation charge of Rs. 999/- (Rupees Nine Hundred Ninety Nine only) along with a transaction reversal fee of 2% (Two Percent) of the amount paid will be deducted prior to processing the refund to you. This shall be at the sole discretion of the CAMBIO Customer Support Team. If the product has been shipped either from the brand’s warehouse or from CAMBIO’s warehouse prior to raising a cancellation request, the same will not be entertained.

REFUND PROCESS – In case a refund is approved by CAMBIO, the mode of your refund to be processed depends on your original payment method. If you have paid by credit/debit card/internet banking, refunds will be sent to the respective bank within 5 (Five) to 7 (Seven) business days of receipt of the returned item or cancellation request. If the product ordered is not available with the brand for any unforeseen circumstances, CAMBIO will offer a 100% refund to the customer through the Original Mode of Payment.

Product & Pricing Policy: –

• Zero hidden charges when you make a purchase.
• The price you see on the product page is exactly what you pay.
• Prices are inclusive of all local taxes and delivery charges.
• Offer/coupon codes are at the discretion of the company and can be removed anytime from the website.
• Customer cannot claim for any new offer applicable after order placed successfully.
• Image shown on the product page may be of highest configuration, so you are requested to see the specification of each product thoroughly before placing an order.

Supply Policy

• Ordered products are shipped directly from the manufacturing facility/dealer to the consumer shipping address mentioned during the registration.
• Products will be shipped within 3-5 working days after payment/order confirmation.
• Products are shipped in 80-95% fitted/assembled condition through our courier partner/dealer/transport.
• Tracking ID will be shared through e-mail/SMS on shipment.
• Customer can track his order on CambioBikes.com using the Track now tab/ courier partner website by entering AWB/Tracking ID shared by the company.

Delay in Supplies

If for some reason, there is a delay in supply because of product is out of stock then we will notify you by email. • We are shipping all orders within 3-5 days approximately but there may be delay due to some unavoidable circumstances which will be communicated through email or call from our side. The customer must accept this as a special case.
